Ashleigh & Renee
We are Ashleigh and Renee and we are so THANKFUL for this opportunity you have given us.
Growing our family and sharing our love with others is what we’ve always wanted.
We can appreciate the difficulty in making this decision and we wish you PEACE OF MIND knowing that your child will know you loved them very much and the courage you had to ensure they have a good life.
Renee has a 9-year-old son, Kyle. Kyle is excited about welcoming a baby into the family and can’t wait to become a big brother.
We are an example of friends moving past the friend zone into a love that lasts forever.
We met in high school and instantly became friends. Unfortunately, life took us both in different directions and on different adventures. Despite our distance, we remained friends.
It is easy to identify that moment when I knew that Ashleigh was going to be my forever. We were watching 4th of July fireworks with my family and I looked over at her and saw a glow that I had never seen before. I saw our whole life at that moment, and it was the warmest I had ever felt.
On the most beautiful winter Rhode Island day in February, we said, “I DO” and started what would be the roller coaster of all roller coasters. Our ceremony was filled with love from our family.
We have an amazing dog, Rusty, who has energy that never ends. He loves playing ball, the squeakier the better, never passes up a walk or cuddle time with us. He loves Renee’s son and could not be gentler with kids.
We rescued our cat, Lexi, in January 2018 and she has made a lovely addition to our family.
Our family means everything to us.
Renee has a small family after losing her sister in high school which made her even closer with her parents.
Ashleigh has a larger family spread between Arizona, California, Virginia and Washington State.
Neither one of us would be the women that we are today without the love and support that each of our families has given us. Family is the backbone of every great person; passing life lessons from generation to generation.
Growing up in military homes, we each have learned valuable lessons about life and the importance of each day. We try to spend every day together doing stuff from playing card games to watching a good movie.
We enjoy playing tennis together, taking walks with our dog, watching NFL, and reading books.
We have traveled the world and between us have hit about every country. I got more of the travel gene from my parents than Ashleigh did, but we compromise with camping trips, exploring new sites, and visiting family.
