Christina and Jessie
We are Christina & Jessie from Los Angeles, California! We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the opportunity to share more about our lives and for considering us as adoptive parents for your baby.
We truly admire your bravery and strength in making this decision. We know it cannot be easy and we want you to know how much respect we have for you. We promise to be open and honest with your baby about their adoption story, about how strong and courageous their birth mother is, and about how fate brought us all together. We promise to create a home full of love and laughter for your baby and we look forward to taking this journey with you.
Becoming parents has always been part of our plan and is extremely important to us. We want you to know that we are committed to being the best parents possible. We have so much love in our family, and we look forward to sharing that love with your baby. Although we cannot conceive in the conventional way, adoption is a true act of love, and we cannot think of a better way to start our family.
About Us: We met while working together at a live, regional theater in Ventura, California. We connected immediately. We spent as much time together as possible and within a couple of months we knew that we were destined to be together forever. We had been dating for 6 months when Jessie proposed to Christina in the most heartfelt, theatrical way possible. Jessie asked Christina to come to the theater one night. When Christina arrived, she was immediately met by Jessie sitting in a boat onstage with projections of Central Park behind her. The lighting was romantic, and the setting was perfect. A video that Jessie made started playing with music. Knowing how important family and friends are to Christina, the video started with all of Christina’s favorite people stating how much they love her and why. The video ended with Jessie expressing her love to Christina. Jessie pulled out a beautiful ring and asked Christina to marry her.
After about a year of planning, we said “I Do” surrounded by our family and friends. We have fun doing anything and everything together! We enjoy going to professional soccer games, concerts, plays, and love spending time with both of our families. Family is extremely important to both of us, and we are excited to expand our family through adoption.

About Christina by Christina: I am lucky enough to have a job that I absolutely love. I am the Director of Production at the UCLA School of Theater. My job combines my love for teaching and my passion for theater. I was a shy child and theater allowed me to open up and gave me a safe space to be myself. I truly enjoy working with the next generation of theater artists as they discover who they are and find their place in the world.
I am a caring, compassionate, easy-going person that enjoys being around others and making them happy. I love going to the Los Angeles Galaxy games (professional soccer) and other sporting events, seeing live theater, spending time with family, and taking long walks with Jessie and our two dogs. I love sleepovers with my nieces and nephews, creating special memories and having lots of fun together.
Holidays are spent with the family. We have created many traditions over the years, like wearing matching PJs at Christmas. I cannot wait to share some of these holiday traditions with our future child while creating new ones together.
More About Christina by Jessie: Christina is what I imagined when I used to dream up the perfect person. She is incredibly caring for others, hardworking, good at her job, and accepting of me in every way. She allows others to be who they are and finds ways to improve the lives of those around her. She will drop anything at any time to help make the lives of those around her better. In theater, it’s often hard to find the perfect person to be with because you often jump from one theater to the next. After working with Christina on two shows and spending time growing closer and closer together, I knew I never wanted to leave her. I knew I had found my person. Christina is going to be an incredible mother and I cannot wait to take this journey with her!

About Jessie by Jessie: I grew up in New Jersey just a few miles from the Jersey Shore. As a kid, I never could picture what I wanted to be when I grew up. My younger brother, Paul, was very into theater and during my senior year invited me to stage manage a play he was working on. From the minute I walked into the small strip mall theater I felt like I had found a community.
I attended Rutgers University. During my sophomore year, I enrolled in the stage management track at Mason Gross School of the Arts. I had found my path!
I’ve been extremely lucky to have really excelled in my theatrical career. The best part about freelance work is when it doesn’t fit your schedule, you can say no. That freedom has allowed me to explore other passions. I truly enjoy making people smile and discovered what better way to do that than through…ice cream. So, Christina and I purchased a classic ice cream truck which I have been working on this past year. This ice cream business allows me the freedom to be flexible, which will come in handy when it comes time to bring the new baby home!
More About Jessie by Christina: Jessie is the most amazing person I have ever met, and I am blessed to call her my wife and best friend. I was immediately attracted to her huge heart and gentle soul. She is extremely caring and compassionate and always puts others first. She is also hard-working, passionate and the most dedicated woman I know. She makes me laugh daily with her funny one liners and silly nature. She will do anything for anyone and is a true partner in every sense of the word. Children absolutely adore Jessie and I know she will be the best mother to your child. She has so much love in her heart, and it radiates through her incredible smile.
