Hello! We are Hannah & Kelsey. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us on this journey of yours! We are incredibly humbled that you are taking the time to get to know us. We may not know you but we know with all certainty that you are strong, brave and courageous! We will never understand the difficulty of the decision that you face, but nevertheless, we admire your strength.
Since we began discussing growing our family, we always knew it would be through adoption. We have personally experienced the beauty of adoption though Hannah’s parents, brother, and best friend. We view adoption and parenthood as a great responsibility and an even greater honor.
Our hearts and home are filled with love, grace, joy and a lot of laughs. We cannot wait to begin this next chapter together.
The way we met is kind of a funny story that we agree to disagree about. Kelsey was applying at Hannah’s previous place of work, and it was to be Hannah’s assistant, though Kelsey swears that she didn’t know it was for that position. It didn’t really matter because Kelsey didn’t end up getting the job! A few months later Hannah asked Kelsey out for a sympathy cup of coffee and from that point on we spent every single day together. Literally. We knew in those first few days that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and we did just that. Kelsey proposed to Hannah outside of an event in Los Angeles. We spent the afternoon at a spiritual event at a yoga studio. While on a break, Kelsey popped the question in an alleyway with a necklace. It was very unconventional but absolutely perfect for us. We have been married for four years now. We vowed to always love, laugh, and grow together and have been doing so since. Faith is the foundation of our marriage, and it will forever be the cornerstone for our family.
We are avid runners, small business owners and adventure seekers. Our first date was spent climbing around on some ruins in Los Angeles and we haven’t stopped adventuring since. We love being outside and challenging ourselves in any way we can, which is why we have gone tree-top ziplining and skydiving despite Hannah’s immense fear of heights. We also really enjoy spending quality time in our oasis of home. We have hiked countless trails and seen the most beautiful sights from desserts and forests to lakes and rivers. Luckily living in Orange County California makes it possible to go to the beach, mountains, and desserts all in one day. We have always talked about how amazing it would be to have a little one to share those adventures with. We believe in living life to the fullest and growing beyond fears and boundaries. We cannot wait to show our future child the world and teach them that they can do anything they put their minds to.
One of our greatest adventures has been taking over the family business and running it together. Hannah was humbled when the business was passed down to her from her dad, especially since it was established in 1963 and has been a generational blessing to our family. Being your own boss has its perks: flexible schedules, time off when needed and personally reaping the results of your hard work. That said, we have the rare ability to take as much time off work whenever we need to so that we can be present parents.
I grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. Yes, it’s a real place in a real state. During my childhood we traveled a lot, had many family gatherings and this meant lots of good food and lots of fun. I attended Orange Coast College and love gardening (especially succulents), running, puzzles, being outdoors and playing with our dogs. I cannot wait to take walks and garden with my future child. I cannot wait to re-discover everything with them and Hannah. I’m so looking forward to seeing new places and experiencing new things as a family.
Kelsey is unlike anyone else I have ever known. She is kind and tender and gentle yet, courageous and strong and fierce. Kelsey strives every single day to be a better version of herself – and the truth is, she actually succeeds at it! I truly never wanted to get married, until my first date with Kelsey and meeting her has forever changed me.
She is going to be the most amazing mother because she has more love and grace and patience than anyone I know.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in Surf City USA – aka Huntington Beach, California. My childhood was filled with playing sports, being active outside and basically living at the beach. I graduated college from a Private University in Southern California with a degree in Business. I love running, reading, hiking and almost anything active that involves being in the sun! I am so excited to go on adventures with our future child! To learn and explore and laugh and play. I cannot wait to remind them daily that they were made for greatness!
Hannah is the perfect combination of everything in life which is what made me fall in love with her. She is the smartest and wisest person I know and will make you laugh harder than you ever thought possible. She has been my home and comfort from the moment I met her. She has never stopped inspiring me and everyone around her to be better every single day. She has a magnetic aura and everyone who meets her is forever changed for the better. She will go to the ends of the Earth for those she loves and I know she will do exactly that for our future child. I trust her with my heart and life which is why I know she will be the best mother.

George, also known as Goy, was rescued from the streets and gives more kisses than you will be able to handle! He loves food more than anything and will clean up everything that drops on the floor, except lettuce.
Frankie, also known as Blah, was rescued from a hoarding house and is a phenomenal snuggler! He has a bad front paw but that doesn’t stop him from living his best life and being the happiest boy.
George and Frankie love being around little ones and all the neighborhood kids love them too.
We reside in Orange County, California and our home is our safe haven where we can relax but also have fun and let loose. Our home is bright and open and filled with love, laughter, good music, and great food. We live in a family-friendly neighborhood with lots of kids. We have schools right across the street and plenty of parks within walking distance. Our housing community pool is ten steps away from our front gate and we have direct access to the beach. Grandma, grandpa and cousin-to-be are down the street with a big back yard and plenty of toys. Plus, what doesn’t say Southern California like an In-n-Out around the corner?
Hannah has family scattered throughout the states but her mom (Mary), dad (Tad), and 12-year-old nephew (Conall) live right around the corner from us. They are truly the most amazing support system, our biggest fans and so fun to be around. From BBQs to baseball tournaments to church- we are with each other often and would have it no other way. Mary and Tad CANNOT WAIT to be grandparents and Conall is ECSTATIC about being a big cousin! Hannah has been an integral part of helping to raise Conall since he was 3 months old. They have a very strong relationship and an unbreakable bond!
Kelsey has family in Northern California, Oregon, Chicago and her mom (Rosanne) and two sisters (Margee and Stephanie) live on the East Coast. We switch off traveling to see one another and they are all filled with excitement to grow the family!
We are so humbled for the time you have invested in getting to know us and we cannot wait to get to know you as well.
