Kevin & Lindsey
Hi from Lindsey & Kevin in Los Angeles!
You are amazing for considering adoption and truly selfless for taking such care in reading our profile. Thank you for allowing us to share a glimpse of our life with you.
We have come to adoption out of pure love, not out of loss. Adoption has always been the first choice for us and we could not be more thrilled to have begun the journey.
We are eager to get to know you and develop a strong and lasting bond.
Our goal as parents is to provide our future child with unconditional love, confidence to embrace their individuality, and courage to be kind.
We hope you find a match that gives you peace for the future.
Kevin and Lindsey
We met in the summer of 2011 while working at the Apple store in San Francisco’s Union Square. Upon meeting, we found that we complemented each other in all the right ways.
We are both fiercely loyal and family is our number one value. After being married for over three years, we have evolved as a team, helped each other grow, and are ready to nurture and love our future child.
We have a saying in our marriage, that Kevin used in our marriage vows: our love and commitment is like a “dime and a penny” meaning no matter how you look at it we are more than 100% committed to our team.
We have traveled all over the world and have been blessed to see beautiful places but more importantly to learn about people and cultures different from our own.
We plan to continue to travel with our future child but most weekends you will find us at Lindsey’s parents beautiful 3-acre property nestled in the Ojai Valley, enjoying BBQs and dips in the pool with Lindsey’s aunts, uncles, cousins, and puppies.
Get To Know Lindsey
I have a passion for people. I am currently attending graduate school and will be receiving my Masters in Social Work in May of 2019. I work with homeless veterans and could not be more content and fulfilled with the work I do; I have found my life’s calling.
Above all else, I am dedicated to my family and friends; they keep me grounded and whole. I am deeply loyal and fiercely protective.
I love to laugh and will take any opportunity to make those around me laugh. AND I love Hello Kitty. My love for Hello Kitty is not only because she is cute, but speaks to my child-like heart and willingness to find joy in the most mundane moments. When I am not studying, I am spending time with family or friends. I love to hike, read, bake, and eat cookies.
Lindsey through Kevin’s eyes:
When I first met Lindsey, I thought I was funny, but I had met my match and more! Lindsey has perfected her sense of humor as a way to make everyone around her feel comfortable and of course make them laugh. It is one of her best qualities; she can make others feel cared for and at ease from the moment they meet her.
Lindsey loves learning about and from others. She is passionate about family, proven by the fact that she is extremely close to both her parents, her brother and extended family. She is fiercely loyal and will do anything for her friends and family. Her standards for herself are high and it shows in how she carries herself with confidence.
She is a great partner in life because she wants everyone around her to succeed in whatever they are striving for – which will mean the world for our future child as he/she grows into a unique individual.
Get To Know Kevin
Hey – I’m Kevin – a driven, family first, sports fanatic from Walnut Creek, CA. Growing up, I learned to love sports because of the fun, teamwork, competition and how it all applies to real life.
Because sports and academics came first through high school, I didn’t catch the travel bug until college, when I had the opportunity to study abroad for a summer in multiple European countries. Ever since then, I have tried to get out and see as much as possible, whether it’s the East coast, as many professional baseball stadiums as possible, or countries I haven’t ventured to yet.
I have a logical, analytical mindset, which makes it easy to love my job, where I work in strategy and operations. I am always trying to push myself to be better because nobody is perfect and it’s fun to focus on the journey.
Kevin through Lindsey’s eyes:
Upon first meeting Kevin you might think he is quiet and reserved, which is true, but it doesn’t tell his whole story. Kevin is one of the funniest people I know, he has a sense of freedom and confidence that is enviable and is willing to do just about anything to make me smile. He is gentle, thoughtful, and incredibly good at math (thank goodness). He is intellectual, and his work ethic is rivaled by very few I know.
Kevin provides a rock-solid foundation for me and I know he will provide one to our future children allowing them to embrace their dreams. Kevin is loyal, and family comes above all else, even above his beloved Giants baseball team.
Kevin enjoys making sandwiches (his favorite food), playing with our dog, spending time with his family and friends, and playing or watching ANY sports
Our Home and Family
We live in sunny Culver City, Los Angeles. We live in a beautiful apartment within walking distance to downtown Culver City. We are also within walking distance to beautiful large parks and only 12 minutes from the beach!
Los Angeles has wonderful museums and community events almost every weekend. We love that Los Angeles gives us access to the beach, the desert and the mountains. The location of our home allows us to be within driving distance of Lindsey’s family in Ojai and Kevin’s family in Walnut Creek.
I have one older brother, Cody, who is one of my best friends; he has a kind, gentle heart and is incredibly excited to become an uncle.
My parents, Scott and Michelle, have been married for 38 years and own a successful construction company. They are wonderful people who I am blessed to call my parents.
I have a large Hispanic family and I come from a long line of strong Latina women who are my role models. Our future child will be the first baby in our family for over 17 years, so to say they will be loved is an understatement!
My parents, Mark and Noreen, are extremely passionate about family and our well-being. My father, an architect, taught me from an early age about the wonders of design, and the value of being well rounded in academics and sports.
My mother, a dental hygienist, taught me early on the values of living life to the fullest and striving to improve yourself. She taught me that every day, we have a choice to make it great.
I am the youngest of three with two older sisters – Jenelle and Michelle. Both sisters are nurses in the Bay Area. My niece, Leah and nephew, Logan, are growing up so fast and it’s been great to watch them develop. We all love to get together for weekend BBQ’s, to watch sports, and hang with the dogs, two lab/poodle mixes.
Parker is the sweetest 4-year-old poodle mix who we rescued in 2013. We were so lucky to have found Parker, he has brought us immense joy and love. He loves to cuddle, ride in the car, and eat avocados! He is happy to accompany us on any errand just to ride in the car and spend time with us.
My parents’ home is his favorite place and he loves to play with my parents’ two dogs, a chocolate lab named Zoe and a white maltipoo named Oliver.
