Hello, and thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us. We hope this will offer you a peek into our loving, creative and fun life together and help you decide what is best for you and your child. You have our deepest respect and admiration for the courageous decision you are making.
While we are not able to have a child, we are beyond excited to create a family through adoption. We have been wanting a family since we first met. Both of us are eager to provide a home where our future child will feel unconditionally loved, nurtured, and safe.
We deeply value self expression and are committed to supporting our future child’s individual interests, creativity, and talents, whatever they may be, so they grow up feeling confident and free to be authentic in the world.
About Us: We met in Los Angeles nine years ago at an art exhibition through a group of mutual friends. One day Michelle offered to give Jason a haircut. During the haircut we found out we have a lot of things in common — we share the same birthday, we are both originally from Texas, and we even went to the same college in Houston at different times — this is in addition to both being artists.
We make the best travel companions and we love to travel. We love adventure and look forward to summers when we can travel abroad to discover new places. Of course, we see lots of art when we travel, but we also enjoy exploring new cuisines, museums, and other cultural destinations.
We enjoy making art side by side in our shared studio. In addition, we both love learning new things, and we love to laugh. We also share a love of animals, especially dogs. Jason is close to his mother, sister and her husband, who all still live in San Antonio, Texas, where Jason grew up. Michelle is very close to her parents, as well as her two sisters and brother, their spouses and their kids — she has five nieces and nephews who range in age from 9 months to 25 years old. Most of Michelle’s family now lives very close by, in and around Los Angeles.
