The love you have for your child is awe inspiring, and we are grateful that you are considering us as part of your adoption journey. By choosing us, you will help fulfill our dreams of becoming dads. As you read our profile, we hope that you will see that we can provide a loving and supportive home for your child. We promise to offer your child the opportunity to pursue their passions. Along the way, we hope to travel the world with them and introduce them to various cultures. We thank you for considering us, and we look forward to meeting you!
Our Story: We met 14 years ago, when Piyush showed up at one of our running club’s weekly runs. We connected over stories about our travels at a potluck after the run. Richard was training for his first marathon, and Piyush had some travel plans, so our first date was six weeks later. We knew were a good match, when we both fell asleep during the movie! Over the years we got to know each other, supported each other’s professional goals as well as running goals and bonded over our shared love of languages. We bought our first house together 6 years ago. We got married 3 years ago. Even though we both work, we make it a point to have dinner together as a couple every day. We start our weekends with a trail run together. We are fortunate to live near a lot of Richard’s family. We get together with them almost every other weekend for a meal or celebration. We also regularly go for a hike, visit local museums, or go to the beach with our friends on weekends. We take at least 2 big trips each year, one to visit Piyush’s parents in Zambia (a country in southern Africa), and another someplace fun! Recently we have been to Canada, Hong Kong, and Hawaii. We are really excited to begin our adoption journey and can’t wait to share our lives with our future child!

A Little About Richard by Piyush: When you meet Richard, you can tell how kind and caring he is. Richard and his twin brother are the oldest of 4. Richard used to look after his younger sister, and help her get ready for school. You can see Richard’s love for children when we spend time with our nieces and nephews. When they are around us, he is usually engaged in a conversation with at least one of them. Richard works for a medical device company as senior manager of technical communications. He loves his job because he gets to interact with people all over the world. Richard can take 18 weeks of parental leave, and is looking forward to using this time to get to know our future child.
