Susan & Chip
We are Susan and Chip from Georgia!
Dear Birth Mother:
First we would like to thank you for your courage, strength and your selflessness in choosing adoption for your child. You are a remarkable person and we have the utmost respect for you. Thank you for not giving up, but instead giving more.
We are delighted you decided to get to know more about us and we appreciate the opportunity to share our story with you. It is our heart’s desire to become a loving family to a precious little one through adoption.
If we are lucky enough to become adoptive parents to your child, we promise that your little one will grow up in a home that nurtures, encourages, is filled with respect, and most of all is full of unconditional love.
Our Journey Together Began 6 years ago
We first met online, as many people are these days. We chatted online for several days and about a week later we had our first date. With each date afterward, we grew closer, and it was not long before we knew we had met the person we were meant to spend the rest of our lives with! We were together two years before we became engaged and were then married 6 months later.
We have been together now for 6 years and with each new day our love has continued to grow.
One thing that we’ve always dreamed of is having a family. We began trying to have a baby a year or so after we were married, but soon found out that it would not be possible for us. Now our dream is to become loving parents through adoption and finally welcome a precious baby into our lives.

About Chip (Through the eyes of Susan)
I am so glad that Chip’s family decided to move from Romania to the United States when he was 15 years old. One of the things that made me fall in love with him is he would always talk to me in Romanian. In fact, Chip has already expressed his desire to teach a little one Romanian!
Chip is many things, but first and foremost he is a provider for our family. He is also very kind, loving, giving, caring, and funny. I can positively 100% guarantee he will make sure a child’s every desire is attended to!
I love to watch Chip when he is with his niece and nephew. He lights up when they are around and all he wants to do is make them laugh and play with them. I cannot wait to see his reactions when he is playing with a little one. I am sure of one thing that the child will have him wrapped around his/her little finger!
Chip works as a flight engineer and evaluator in the Marines. He has a great work ethic and can quickly think on his feet. He has received many commendations for his impeccable workmanship and leadership he provides.

About Susan (Through the eyes of Chip)
Susan is very loving and giving. Her fondness for children and youth is not only displayed in her career, but also in the work she has done on mission trips to orphanages and churches abroad. I know that Susan will instill in a child the importance of giving to those in need.
Very often when we are with friends or family who has little ones, I will find Susan holding on to and loving the child all through the night. You can see the happiness it brings to her through the sparkle in her eyes. I long for the day to see Susan doting over a darling little one. I know she is going to be the best mom in the world!
Growing up, Susan always dreamed of being a teacher. And that dream has since come true! Today she is a brilliant, smart, and dedicated teacher who cares deeply about her student’s education and well-being. She is very caring, understanding, and patient with students and would do anything for them. I cannot wait to see her teaching a little one how to say his/her ABC’s and count his/her numbers. It brings a smile to my face just thinking about it! The plan is for Susan to stay home once the little one arrives.

Our Home & Family
Our Home and Our Awesome, Little Town
We live in a spacious ranch style home in a quiet community with nice friendly neighbors in beautiful southern Georgia. We spend most of our time in the kitchen and the living room. We love to cook our meals together and then take it to the living room to watch either one of our TV shows or a movie. We both look forward to cooking meals for your little one and watching cartoons or kid movies with him/her.
In addition to having a large yard, perfect for running around, we live within walking distance from our local recreation department and playground. We both look forward to taking your child to his/her first game, but in the meantime, we will take your child to play in the park!
Our home is located in a small rural city where everyone knows everybody. We look forward to sharing our quaint little town with your child, showing him/her the businesses downtown and teaching your little one the importance of giving back to his/her community. We look forward to showing your little one the business that makes our little hometown known worldwide.
There is one important member of our family we would love to introduce to you and her name is Molly. Molly is our 6-year-old Weimeraner. She loves to play Frisbee and enjoys getting treats. We know she will enjoy playing and loving a new little addition to our family. She plays well with children and is very concerned when she hears a baby crying.
Meet Our Family
Our family does not just consist of loving parents, a brother, a sister, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew. It consists of loving friends.
Our parents will be wonderful grandparents as we have already seen how much they have spoiled their grandchildren already. Susan’s parent’s live nearby and are looking forward to being here for us daily. Chip’s family lives in Pittsburgh, but they are already making plans for an extended visit to help us out when the little one arrives.
