Trinecia and Jason

Dear Birth Mother

Hello! We are Trinecia and Jason (plus Jasiah and Jatison)! We believe that choosing life is the most important, most courageous act of selflessness. We love the possibility that you would honor us with the sweet privilege to raise your child and love them with everything that we are! You are fantastic.

We would love to expand our family and we always knew that adoption was in our future! Since our early days, we discussed how we would grow our family and while we have 2 boys, Jasiah age 5 1/2 and Jatison age 2 1/2, we feel now is the right time to pursue adoption. We are so very excited and so are Jasiah and Jatison.

About Us: While we reside in Los Angeles, our story doesn’t begin here! It began in Tucson, Arizona in 2002. We had just graduated High School and found ourselves at a night club celebrating our accomplishments. Jason approached Trinecia and that’s all it took! Trinecia was impressed by his courage and good looks! And Jason thought Trinecia was pretty cute.

After a year of dating, while we were on a trip to see Trinecia’s side of the family in Memphis, TN, Jason asked Trinecia’s dad for her hand in marriage and later that weekend Jason got down on one very shaky knee and asked Trinecia to marry him! We were married in 2006 and have grown with and changed with each other for the better. We look forward to our forever together.

Dear Birth Mother

Meet Trinecia

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be an actress, a wife, and a mother. Growing up I loved family time and traveling. My 3 sisters and I were raised by a single mother, who did an outstanding job of giving us values, morals and dignity! I was born in Tennessee but we relocated to Arizona. After graduating high school I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of acting while Jason stayed in Arizona to pursue his!

I’ve been fortunate to experience some success as a working actress in Los Angeles which has been amazing. My greatest joy and purpose filled time however, has been motherhood!

I shifted my career path to primarily focus on being home with my family. Being with my children is my greatest interest and adventure; I love seeing the world through my children’s eyes, hearing them laugh, and watching them learn, develop and grow!

More About Trinecia – by Jason: It is hard to find the words to describe Trinecia without getting overly emotional as I am proud of the mother she has become and am blessed to have such a wonderful wife. Trinecia is loving, caring, and I admire that she puts the boys ahead of herself. She is selfless and you can see this in the amount of joy the boys have for life and the care they show to others. Trinecia is very determined, she never quits, and she never does a job halfway.

Meet Jason

I grew up in an under privileged neighborhood and always thought the only way I could be successful was to play sports or become a performing artist.  I did not realize there were other professional opportunities such as becoming a lawyer, doctor, sales professional and so much more! I was blessed to attend Salpointe Catholic School where I was exposed to all of the career paths and opportunities available in the world and this is where I started to form who I am today.

I am a family man. My children are truly the core of who I am, and I am determined to be the best father I can be and give them many opportunities in life.

More About Jason – by Trinecia: Jason is driven, persistent, patient and positive! He can turn any and every negative into a positive. He perseveres through any situation and is committed to being a success in all that he is, a husband, father, Christian, and citizen of the world. Jason is loving, patient and kind! He thinks first and reacts later! He takes time for others, mentoring and encouraging them.

Meet Jasiah and Jason

Jasiah and Jatison are fun loving, smart, kind, intelligent little men! Jasiah is 5 1/2 and in Kindergarten, while Jatison is 2 1/2 and attends preschool. They love to travel, maybe more than we do! Exploring new places is one of their favorite pastimes. They love food, they literally eat everything, even vegetables. And as of now Jasiah plans to be a basketball player, football player, soccer player and baggage assistant at the airport! While Jatison says “me too” in response to whatever Jasiah wants to be.

Our Home: We live in Sherman Oaks, a suburb of Los Angeles. We have a beautiful 5 bedroom home with a large yard for running and playing, a backyard with a swimming pool, and a nice basketball court! Our neighborhood is safe and full of families with children. We are a short 2 block walk to restaurants, shopping, and lots of activities! On weekends we walk, ride bikes or the boys ride their scooters as we explore new restaurants. We have made many friends nearby and we get together for pool parties often. Parks and recreational activities are less than a 10-minute drive away. Jasiah and Jatison attend a private school not far away.

Our Family and Friends

God, Family, and Friends are the most important components of our lives! Jason’s mother, Anna, recently moved to Los Angeles, just a few blocks away from us. And while Jason’s mother is the only biological family we have in Los Angeles, we have become best-friends and family with our neighbors!

We travel to Houston twice a year to see Trinecia’s mother, Tammy, and her two sisters Tiffany and Tacoria, along with her nieces, nephews, Aunt, Cousins and Grandmother! We also travel to Memphis, Tennessee, to see Trinecia’s father, Curtis, and Stepmother, Theresa. Plus we visit extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins and Trinecia’s Grandfather.

Our God daughters, Jayden and Maleea, reside in Tucson, Arizona, so we travel there often to visit with them and all of our high school and college life long friends.

Our support system is outstanding, and they all are so excited to welcome the newest member with open arms!

Did You Notice? You’ll see in photos that we always match or coordinate our outfits as a family! It’s a generational tradition, stemming from Trinecia’s mother and father to Trinecia and her siblings, and now to our family!

Thank You: We thank you for taking the time to make an informed decision and for giving us the opportunity to present our family to you in hopes that you may feel inspired to give us the greatest gift in all the world. We promise to give your child everything they need to thrive. For we loved them before we even knew them, even when there was just a hope for them, we loved them.

We love you, pray for you, and are so encouraged by your bravery. God Bless You.
