Hello and Bonjour! We are Vincent & Linea. We believe that everything in life happens for a reason, and our path has led us to you. We truly admire your strength, courage and selflessness. We respect the importance of your decision and feel so honored to be considered as adoptive parents to your child.

A Danish girl and a French boy move to Georgia and find one another.
We met five years ago on a blind date. A mutual client set us up, and we both really went on the date as a favor to her. But we each quickly realized that there was something very special about the other. We discovered that we shared a lot of the same interests and values, including love of family, animals, travel, and great food. Within a few months, we knew that we wanted to share our lives together and build a family of our own. After struggling with infertility, we recognized that adoption was the perfect way to make our dream of expanding our family a reality.
We believe in embracing life and all that it has to offer. Each day is a new opportunity to create a fun, positive and meaningful experience. Our time together is often spent being active and outdoors. Most weekends, you will find us taking a walk by the river, playing tennis, or hiking in the north Georgia mountains. In the evenings, we enjoy spending quality time together and often host our family and friends for dinner and game nights.
Our mutual passion for travel has taken us around the world, including yearly visits to France, Portugal and Denmark where we visit family. We are so excited to share different cultures, languages and adventures with our child.
Within a few weeks of meeting Linea, I felt like we had known each other for years. Every second spent with her has made me a better man. As a physical therapist and pilates instructor, caring for people is what she thrives on - constantly going above and beyond to help them feel better. Being in the medical field, she has seen it all, always keeping her cool in stressful situations and finding solutions.
She values a healthy lifestyle - eating a clean diet and exercising regularly including biking, hiking, dancing and swimming.
Seeing Linea with our niece makes my heart melt. She loves to spend quality time with her - putting a million barrettes in each other's hair, reading books, playing tricks on me, and dressing up like a princess. She has a heart of gold, and her ultimate dream is to have a child that she can care for, cherish, protect and love with her whole heart. I know she will be an outstanding mother.
When I first met Vincent, I was instantly drawn to his warmth, charm and sense of humor. He is confident, but not arrogant with a clear sense of who he is and what he wants in life. He is the most honest, trust-worthy person I know.
Being raised in Paris helped to shape Vincent's passion and creativity. He is so excited to share the French culture and language with our child.
As a hairdresser, Vincent knows how to make people not only look but feel their best. He also loves to cook amazing meals for us, family and friends. He knows the way to people's hearts is through their stomachs and we all feel the love!
I know Vincent will be an amazing father because he has the biggest heart and always puts others first. Children adore him – probably because in some ways, he is a big kid himself! Whether playing in our pool, kicking around a soccer ball, or engaging in a spirited game of ping-pong, kids are always having fun and laughing when they are with him.
We live in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia about ten minutes outside of the city. We love being close to downtown and all that it has to offer including restaurants, parks, sporting events and the world’s largest aquarium. But we also really enjoy the peace and calm of our home.
We have a 5-bedroom home with plenty of space for hosting family gatherings. Our backyard is our oasis where we have fun grilling out, feeding the fish in our pond, and swimming in our pool.
Our neighborhood is very safe and full of families with children of all ages. Every year, they host activities for the kids such as a Halloween parade, Easter egg hunt and Fourth of July fireworks. The local public school is one of the best in the state of Georgia. Our community is an ideal place for a child to grow up.
Our dog, Darcy, is a mixed breed, possibly pointer/terrier. She is very affectionate and thinks everyone is her friend. She loves to play, especially with children, and go on long walks.
Our cat, Ivon, is a Siberian, which is a very social and hypoallergenic breed. He is the first one to greet us in the morning and follows us everywhere around the house. We joke that he is confused and thinks he is a dog - he has even learned to fetch.
Most of Vincent’s extended family still lives in France, but his mom is now retired and lives on the southern coast of Portugal. She and her boyfriend visit us every year for at least a month, and we travel to visit them yearly as well. Vincent’s father, stepmother, and younger sister all live nearby in Atlanta. Vincent sees them every day at work (the salon is a family business), and we see them regularly for holidays, birthdays and random Sunday dinners.
Linea's extended family is spread across the US and Denmark. Her parents live in Ohio. They come to visit us often and have been talking about moving to Atlanta to be closer to us and their future grandchild. Linea's sister and her family live in Colorado. Despite the distance, we have a very close bond and make it a priority to visit each other every 2-3 months. We video chat with them at least once a week and cherish the times when we are all together. Linea is also the legal guardian for her niece. Everyone is so supportive of our dreams and very excited to welcome the newest member into our family!
Holidays are a time of celebration and bonding with family and friends filled with laughter and wonderful food. Linea’s extended family has gathered at the beach for the week of Christmas every year for the past 35 years. We all stay in the same house, and enjoy cooking, going for long walks on the beach, building sandcastles, flying kites, riding bikes, and putting puzzles together. We look forward to it every year and cannot wait to share this special time with our child.
Nothing is more important to us than our family. We were both extremely fortunate to have loving and supportive families growing up, and we are still very close to them today. We cannot wait to welcome a child into our family and provide him or her with the same kind of love and support that we had.
