Becoming parents has always been a deep part of who we are. From early on in our relationship, we knew we wanted to grow our family and raise a child in a home filled with love, stability, and strong values. Adoption feels like the most meaningful way for us to do that. We believe family isn’t just about genetics—it’s about the love, trust, and connection you build over time. Whether it’s the comfort of a parent’s hug or the steady support of a close friend, we believe those bonds make a family. Our home is warm, faith-filled, and ready to welcome a child with open hearts. We’re excited to begin this journey and would be honored to be chosen.

Our love story is a little unique. We both attended Syracuse University, graduated the same year, but never crossed paths until the summer of 2012 when we met in New York City through a mutual friend. From that moment, we knew we were meant to be together. Our relationship has always been built on love, trust, and mutual support. Together, we’ve built a solid foundation—surrounded by a strong support system of family and friends, working hard in our careers, and rescuing our sweet dog, Oliver, who brings so much joy to our home. We’ve created a comfortable life in La Crescenta and are ready to take the next step by growing our family. We’re so excited for this new chapter and thankful for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption.

I was born and raised in the heart of New York City, where I grew up surrounded by people from all walks of life. That kind of diversity taught me early on to appreciate different cultures, ideas, and—maybe most importantly—great food. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved exploring new places and flavors, which is probably why cooking has become one of my biggest passions as an adult. I especially enjoy baking sourdough bread from scratch—it’s calming, creative, and there’s nothing better than the smell of fresh bread in the kitchen. I also love being outside, whether it’s relaxing by the ocean, hiking through the mountains, or just enjoying quiet moments in nature. And when I’m home, there’s nothing better than curling up with family to watch a good show or rollerblading around with friends.

I went to Syracuse University in upstate New York, where I studied English and Film. I got involved in video production early on, and that hands-on experience led me into the world of media. Now, I work as the Director of Branded Operations at BuzzFeed Inc., where I oversee influencer partnerships to advertising.

Griffin has the kindest heart of anyone I’ve ever known. He gives so freely of himself—his time, energy, and love—without expecting anything in return. He’s funny and lighthearted, but also deeply thoughtful and caring. He listens with his whole heart and shows up for the people he loves, every single time. From the start, we’ve made space for honest conversations about how we’re feeling or what we’re dreaming about, and Griffin brings so much emotional strength and empathy to those moments.

He’s the kind of partner who remembers the little things—who makes dinner after a long day or suggests a spontaneous adventure just to make life more fun. He works in media and advertising as a senior director, and I love watching him lead with creativity, confidence, and care. Even with a demanding job, he always makes time for what matters most: our home, our relationship, and the life we’re building together. I know Griffin will be an incredible dad—he’s full of love, patience, and joy, and already lives those values every day.

I grew up in a small town nestled in the rolling hills of Upstate New York, where life moved a little slower and neighbors looked out for each other. That strong sense of community is something I’ve carried with me all the way to Los Angeles, where I live now. I’ve always been a dreamer—creative at heart and constantly curious. As a kid, I loved drawing, music, and even math (I know, kind of nerdy!). The arts became a huge part of my world. These days, one of my favorite ways to unwind is by diving into interior design projects at home—I’m always finding little ways to make our space feel more “us.” I love spending time with our dog, staying close with my family and friends (even from afar), hiking trails old and new, and being the go-to taste tester for my husband Griffin’s latest recipe experiments.

I studied architecture at Syracuse University, where I focused my senior thesis on how design can actually help people heal. Today, I’m a licensed architect and work as an Associate Design Principal, leading the design of new healthcare. My passion is creating hospital spaces that are warm, beautiful, and truly healing—especially for children and their families.

My husband, Brian, is truly one of a kind. He’s incredibly smart—one of those people who seems to know a little bit about everything, and just when you think you’ve got him figured out, he surprises you with something new. But more than that, he has the biggest heart. Brian is the type of man who cares deeply for others and doesn’t hide it—what you see is what you get, and that’s something I really admire about him. He has strong values when it comes to family, faith, and tradition, and he believes in doing what’s right and treating people fairly. He’s also got this fun, lighthearted side—he’ll get the biggest kick out of a silly YouTube video, and it honestly makes me laugh just watching him enjoy it. He’s always open to learning and growing, which is something I really respect. At the end of the day, Brian is a steady, kind, and thoughtful husband. I thank God every day for bringing him into my life—I’m truly blessed to walk through life with him.

One of the things we value most in life is simply spending quality time together— whether we’re hosting friends and family for a backyard barbecue or just working side by side on little projects around the house.

We love making our home feel welcoming and lived-in, the kind of place where people feel comfortable kicking off their shoes and staying a while. Most weekends, you’ll find us out enjoying the fresh air—whether it’s a walk on the beach, a hike through the hills, or just exploring a new corner of our neighborhood. We’ve made it a fun tradition to try something new each month—maybe it’s a local café we haven’t visited or a family-run shop tucked away in LA that feels like a hidden gem.

At home, our kitchen is where the magic happens. Griffin loves to cook, and Brian is always happy to taste-test everything that comes out of the oven! It’s those everyday moments—cooking dinner together, laughing over a good meal, or sitting outside after a long day—that bring us the most joy. We believe that sharing life in the simple, meaningful ways is what builds a strong foundation, and we look forward to bringing a child into a home filled with love, laughter, and the kind of steady, down-to-earth rhythm that makes a family strong.

Oliver is our little dog, and honestly he’s more like a member of the family than a pet. He’s a small white chi-weenie (a Chihuahua-Dachshund mix) and weighs just 9 pounds, but don’t let his size fool you—he’s full of personality and has a heart bigger than he is. We rescued him back in 2015, and what makes Oliver so special is how protective and loving he is. He’s got that watchful nature—always keeping an eye on his people, especially around kids. He’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s curled up next to someone on the couch. We truly believe Oliver will be a sweet and steady companion to our future child.

Fun Fact #1: Oliver’s absolute favorite thing in the whole wide world is popcorn. He has
become so clever that even the mere spelling of “popcorn” is enough to get him excited!

Fun Fact #2: We all wear matching Santa Hats on Christmas!

After spending nearly a decade in Southern California, we’ve come to realize that this is exactly where we’re meant to be. We recently settled down in La Crescenta, a peaceful little town known as “the balcony of Southern California” because of its beautiful views and calm, welcoming atmosphere. It didn’t take long for us to feel right at home here. There’s something incredibly comforting about knowing our future child will grow up surrounded by other families, playing outside, and going to school with neighborhood friends. La Crescenta is the kind of place where you can walk to just about everything—there are local shops, family-owned restaurants, a sweet little farmers market, plenty of parks, and even hiking trails nearby. It’s a slower, more grounded way of life that we truly appreciate.

One of our favorite parts of our home is the backyard, where we love to spend time grilling, laughing with loved ones, and enjoying the simple things that make a house feel like home. And with one of the top-rated elementary schools in California right in the community, it’s easy to see why so many families are choosing to raise their kids here. It’s becoming our happy place—and we can’t wait to share it with a child.

Family has always been at the center of our lives. We believe in the importance of strong roots, gathering around the dinner table, keeping traditions alive, and being there for one another—whether it’s Sunday meals, holidays, or just an afternoon spent together. Our family is big, loving, and full of laughter. No matter how far apart we may live—some as far as Hawaii and New York—we make it a priority to stay connected and support each other.

We’ve been blessed with a close-knit group of family and friends who are loyal, kind-hearted, and generous with their time and love. We know that raising a child is one of life’s greatest callings, and it takes a village to do it well. Our hope is to pass down the same values we were raised with: faith, hard work, compassion, and the importance of loving others well. While our family might look a little different than some, the love, commitment, and care we have to offer are just as strong. We’re excited to welcome a child into a life filled with support, stability, and all the things that truly matter.

Our goal as parents is to raise a child with strong values, a good heart, and a clear understanding of right and wrong. We believe that parenting is one of the greatest callings, and we’re ready to take that responsibility seriously—with love, support, and a steady hand. Children need both affection and guidance, and we’re committed to providing a home where our future child feels secure, supported, and grounded. We plan to raise our child with the same principles we were taught: the importance of family, hard work, respect for others, and gratitude for life’s blessings. We’ll set clear boundaries while also making sure our home is filled with joy, laughter, and love. We believe in leading by example—showing what it means to treat others kindly, work through challenges with grace, and turn to prayer and faith in both the good times and the hard ones. We look forward to creating family traditions, teaching life skills, and helping our child become someone who is both confident and humble, strong and compassionate. More than anything, we want them to know they are deeply loved—and that our home will always be a place of comfort, safety, and belonging.
