Hello! We are Chris, Jenn, and Zoe, coming to you from the coast of Massachusetts! We want you to know our absolute goal is to give the world to your child as a part of our family. Thank you for your courage and strength in considering adoption for your baby. We are an active family of 3 (plus dog!), who love to play, learn, travel and grow together. We cannot wait to add a little one to our family adventures of eating donuts on the beach and dance parties before bedtime. We look forward to getting to know you, and thank you so much for taking the time to consider our life, love, and home for your baby.
We met in May of 2011 with the help of our mutual friends. Despite Chris deciding a bright blue shirt with a giraffe logo was a good fashion choice, somehow I didn't run away! Seven years later Chris proposed on the top of Cadillac Mountain, and a year later we were married surrounded by 200 of our closest family and friends. In our eleven years together, we have supported each other during many milestones and have traveled to twenty states together. Our goal is to someday RV across the country and visit every state!
One of the things I admire most about Chris is his dedication. As a husband, he has never missed a birthday or an anniversary and always gifts me a thoughtful handmade card. As a father, he truly enjoys every moment he spends with Zoe. As an ER physician, he dives into work ready to help complete strangers no matter what else he has going on. As a son, brother, and friend, I don’t know anyone who would give him less than a (near) perfect review :) When he puts his mind to something, he must do it – and I’m lucky enough to have witnessed many of Chris’ life accomplishments, such as graduation from medical school. He works so incredibly hard to give our family the best life and is one of the most selfless people I know. We are very lucky to call him ours!
There are so many ways I could describe Jenn: caring, kind, smart, humble, selfless, organized, and always spontaneously hilarious. I’ve seen her exemplify all of these (including helping me improve the organized trait a little bit as well), as she finds a way to put a smile on my face every day. However, her real beauty has only come to light over the past two years. Her heartfelt dedication to our family and daughter impresses me every single day. She puts her heart into continually helping us learn, love, and grow. But as I look back at her past, I’m not surprised by that in the least. She grew up as the older sister of four younger brothers. She started working as a babysitter when she turned 12. She’s been a nanny for 6 families, and is now even a loving godmother to one of the girls. And now that I’ve seen her heart blossom as our family grows, I know how lucky I am to have her by my side during this journey.
Meet Zoe, our bubbly, energetic, and very independent two year old. Zoe loves playing outside and exploring the world around her, wherever we are! She is a very curious and determined little girl who plays hard all day, yet still loves to cuddle us in her rocking chair before bed. She loves her dolls, who she takes very good care of – all of this practice is going to make her the best big sister!

Zoe is very lucky to be loved by three sets of grandparents who all live just a short drive away. Jenn has four younger brothers and Chris has one younger sister. As all the younger siblings get older and bring significant others into the tribe, birthday parties, beach days, and family trips are nothing but constant laughter. Most of our extended family and friends all live within a few hours, so we are very fortunate to see everyone and make memories throughout the year!
We are incredibly blessed to have a very large friend circle from all different stages of both of our lives. Our wedding party had 19 people in it!
Our house is our happy place full of light and children’s books, where endless laughter and good vibes flow! Our yard is filled with a colorful New England landscape and lots of green grass to roam and play. We live in a quaint coastal town, where we’re just a short drive from the beach and are lucky enough to experience all four seasons. In the summer we have an “OSV” Jeep (over-sand vehicle) where we drive right on the beach and spend hours collecting beach treasures and watching the sunset. One thing we love about our community is the amazing garden in our town center – it has an amazing children’s section full of hands on activities where we spend countless hours playing in nature!
Hanna (Hanna Montana, officially, named by the 3 young girls from her first home!) was the original third member of our family when we took her home from the city shelter in Philadelphia in 2013. Hanna, even at the age of 11, loves nothing more than to cuddle up for a movie or go for an after-dinner walk (aside from sitting next to Zoe’s high chair, of course).
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a bit about our family. We are honored that you would consider our home for your baby. We promise to keep that home filled with love, happiness, and laughter. We pledge to provide your baby with all the encouragement and support they need to reach their dreams, while reinforcing their background and being proud of where they came from. We absolutely love being parents, and we can’t wait for our hearts to grow even bigger than we ever thought possible.
