It's so nice to "meet" you! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. It’s difficult to fit my whole life into this little book, however, I hope that it will give you an idea of who I am and why I know I will make a great adoptive father to your child. I have always known that I wanted to be a dad someday and now I am ready more than ever to become a parent. Adoption has always been near to my heart because my dad was adopted. I want to give the same love and support to my future child that my grandparents gave to my father. I know that family goes far beyond genetics and love is what makes a family. I am so excited for this next part of my life’s journey and getting to share my love and life with a child. I am grateful for your strength in considering adoption for your child and hope that we will meet soon.
For me, family is the most beautiful thing in the world and more than anything my dream is to be a parent. Born and raised in Texas on my family’s farm, I grew up surrounded by animals and loved every minute
of it. I’ve always had a great love for animals and my three corgis are a testament to that. I have a large family who all live in Texas and Oklahoma. I am very fortunate to have a stable and rewarding career that allows me to be able to do all of the things I love, f rom fishing and camping to taking trips. When I am not focusing on my work I enjoy going to the movies or curling up on the couch with a good book.
I come from a tight knit family. I have many childhood memories including growing up with my youngest brother, Tyler, on the farm surrounded by chickens, sheep, dogs and cats, traveling to the ocean many times and spending lots of time baking with my mom. I grew up with many fun holiday traditions including an annual Easter egg hunt with hundreds of eggs and Christmas Eve complete with Christmas carols and storytelling. I remember every Christmas eve getting excited because the “elf” would always visit us, knocking on the door and leaving an early gift for us. Today my parents are about an hour away from where I live but I still see them very frequently. We enjoy family dinners, fishing at their pond and singing.
My friends and I enjoy spending time together going out to dinners and meeting up in the summer to run 5k’s. We are self-proclaimed “fitness gurus!” We especially love pool parties and our annual tacky Christmas sweater party. My friends challenge me to be the best person that I can be, and I continue to grow in life through these friendships. Some of my friends are parents themselves and they are so excited to be a part of my journey as a parent.

Buck is one year old and one of Charlie and Van’s puppies. I fell in love with his unique coloring and knew he was here to stay! He is such a sweet boy and loves to
cuddle! He waits for my workday to end so that we can sit down and watch TV.
Charlie is three years old and is my diva of the house. She acts like she runs this house and always makes sure that we are all doing what we are supposed to. She loves going on rides to pick up groceries and is friendly with anyone that she meets.
Van is two years old and is full of energy. He loves to play catch and run around in the back yard. Every time he hears the word “ball” his ears shoot straight up and he begs to go outside to play. All three dogs love children and I am excited to see to the bond that they make with a new addition to our family.

I live in a small town in Texas, just 30 minutes north of Dallas. I am very proud of my home. I was able to be a part of the building process and chose everything that was put into it. It is a three-bedroom, two bath, brick home. I am in a great neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac which is close to one of the elementary schools so there are lots of kids that run around. We have two community pools that everyone gathers at, a basketball court, and a kids’ playground that is right around the corner.
A father to me is someone who will go through leaps and bounds to make their child happy and be able to see them smile. No matter how old the child is the father is always doing one thing or another to make the child happy. Some things that I am looking forward to are teaching them how to ride a bike, roller blading, and fishing for the first time. I love going to the beach and I look forward to taking trips anywhere from Galveston, Texas all the way to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I’m looking forward to sharing all types of traditions and memories with your child.
I appreciate the time you have taken to learn about me and hope that we can meet soon.
