Hello! We are Paul and Noah, adventure enthusiasts and pet lovers from Southern California!
Our family has been positively impacted by adoption in so many ways, that we knew adoption was the right path for us to create our family. We both consider spending time with family most important, so you can imagine how truly excited we are for an opportunity to grow our family and make forever memories. Thank you for considering us and we look forward to meeting you.
We met on a dating app and “clicked” instantly. We had very deep and honest conversations from the start of our relationship based on our shared values and views of the world. Although we fell in love very quickly, we waited a few years to get married. In 2018, we were at a family gathering when Noah decided to propose to Paul while inside of a Dora the Explorer bounce house!
We believe that our relationship is successful because we are best friends! We have open conversations and value each other’s feelings and opinions. We take joy in celebrating the little things like regular date nights and surprising each other with little unexpected gifts. We also both love adventure and enjoy traveling, hanging out at the beach or the river, amusement parks, and even haunted houses. We balance each other’s personalities perfectly.
We have many hobbies that include jet skiing in the summers, snowboarding in the winters, and visiting beautiful places in between. We have traveled across the United States and go on a yearly vacation with our friends and their children. Some of the places we have visited are Mexico, Florida, Hawaii, New York City, Texas, Utah, and Yosemite. We also love spending time at the family beach house in Oceanside, where we relax and have fun in the sun. We are so excited to share our adventures with our future child.
I grew up in Apple Valley, California with my parents and siblings. I spent my childhood playing soccer, riding dirt bikes, and skiing/snowboarding. After high school, I was accepted into the Animal Science program at Cal Poly Pomona. After graduation, I decided to pursue a career with Environmental Health Services where I currently serve as a lead health inspector. The County provides me with a flexible 4/10 work schedule, Monday-Thursday, with two telework days, and every Friday-Sunday off. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Public Administration and have already completed over half the program.
Noah is smart, has a huge heart and personality, and a true love for life. He is very personable and often the life of the party. He wants to experience everything and is always excited to try something new. He is caring and compassionate, and for me, always finds a way to turn a bad day around by singing, doing funny dances, or just being a good listener. He puts his family above all else and routinely plans for the future to ensure they will be well taken care of. Noah will be a great father, and I’m excited to be by his side as we show your child the world.
I grew up in Ontario, California with my older brother, Anthony, and our mom. Growing up, my brother and I were always outside playing, and I have many great memories of summer vacations at the beach or camping near the lake. It was just the three of us but we always had fun together. After high school, I started working for a grocery company where I have promoted to Assistant Manager. Soon after, I met Noah, and everything changed for the better. I recently took a step back in my career to focus on raising a child and having the ability to spend time teaching, nurturing, loving and making wonderful memories. I have always wanted to be a dad and every day I get a little more excited.
Paul is an exceptional man, especially in the way he takes care of me, our pets, and everyone else he loves. He has the biggest heart and his smile lights up a room; I still get butterflies whenever I’m around him. He has a way of making you feel special, and even has customers that come to the store just to visit him. Being a father is Paul’s lifelong dream. I can’t wait to see the smile on his face the day we become parents.
It is centrally located to many of the activities we enjoy, such as the Big Bear and Wrightwood mountains for hiking and snowboarding, Silverwood Lake for boating and jet skiing, and we are about an hour and a half away from the beach. Our home is also close to our family allowing family dinners and game nights to occur regularly. In addition, Paul’s mother lives with us and she is quite the cook! Our future child will always be surrounded by family who will love and protect them.
Our dogs are extremely important to us and they are all great with children. We are animal lovers and want our child to grow up loving and respecting animals too.
Amelia is our 6-year old rescue and her favorite thing to do is swim. You can always find her in the pool splashing around and playing with everyone. A really special thing about Amelia is that we adopted her together after we started dating. Onyx is our 10 year old maltese mix. Paul has raised Onyx since he was a puppy and they are the best of friends.
One of Noah’s favorite childhood memories is Thanksgiving dinner with sweet potato casserole, grandma’s green jello, and playing games until all hours of the night. Paul’s mom loves to decorate for Christmas and takes joy in making the house a festive Santa’s workshop. We hope to share these family traditions, and start new ones of our own, like encountering a mischievous Elf on the shelf and Easter egg hunts.
Our families are extremely close. Noah's brother and Paul's niece live only two blocks away and they constantly drop by for visits. Noah's mom also lives very close and will be retiring soon. She is extremely excited to be a Mimi (again). Noah also has four nieces and nephews that live with his sister in North Carolina. He visits often and they are always excited to see Uncle Noah. While Paul has many half-brothers and sisters, he has a very special bond with his best friends and considers them family. We take our yearly vacations with them and consider their children as our nieces and nephews. Although, which one of us is the favorite uncle is still up for debate!
With our families and friends in very close proximity your child will get to grow up being surrounded by love, family, other children, and cherished by all those who love us.
We have been very fortunate to learn from the adoption experiences of our family and friends, and they are incredibly excited for us and our journey. Noah’s grandmother was adopted and his mother placed his older brother for adoption when she was seventeen. Noah’s best friend, Victoria, was adopted from Korea through international adoption. Victoria cannot wait to become an Aunt and will be a tremendous support for your child from her experience of being adopted.
We would love to hear from you! We are an adventurous and loving family who hope to someday be blessed to share our lives with a child. We value education, support creativity, and freedom of thought. Your child will know that they can do and be anything they want to be, and that they will be loved through all of their successes and failures. We always want to have open and honest communication to ensure that they feel loved, safe, beautiful, and above all special. Your child will be raised with the knowledge that they are adopted and that we are the recipients of the most amazing gift in the world, the gift of a life.
