Hello! We are Stacy & Brian from Southern California. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us better. At our core, we’re two best friends who have dreamt of starting our family for many years. Our struggles to conceive have never diminished our passion to become parents. Our home is a place of love, connection, and growth, and we can’t wait to share it with your child.

We can’t imagine how difficult this decision must be for you, but we are very inspired by the beautiful and loving choice you have made to place your child for adoption. We are here to provide a safe space as we walk through this journey together.

Our romance started in 2005 when we met on a movie set. Brian was a camera assistant, and Stacy was an actress. We fell in love quickly, and we both knew we had found our person. Two years later while Stacy was spending Christmas with her family in her hometown in Florida, Brian secretly flew there and he surprised her by renting a sailboat where he proposed to her during a sunset sail in Sarasota bay! We were married a year later in Los Angeles, and we’ve had a long successful marriage based on supporting each other’s dreams, growing together, and working through life’s challenges. For us, a good life means living a life of meaning, joy, and purpose, and we try to always balance working hard towards our goals and dreams with relaxing and having fun.

Stacy is one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. So many people cherish Stacy’s friendship, wisdom, and encouragement. She has both the ability to be incredibly deep and real, while also being hilarious and so much fun. She is an amazing friend to those lucky enough to be in her inner circle, and she is amazing at creating connection and bringing people together. Passionate about mindfulness, she is a teacher and administrator for University of California Los Angeles, and she has spent over a decade teaching mindfulness to companies, classrooms, and families. She’s taught me so many amazing techniques to balance my stress from work and to help me manage the difficult times that sometimes pop up in life. I love watching Stacy interact with the babies in our extended families and care for our friends’ children. She has such a natural mothering instinct, is very patient, and is a great listener. I’m excited to partner with her on this journey.

Brian is the kindest, most generous person I’ve met. He will ALWAYS stop to help someone - even strangers in need. He is incredibly wise, and I just love how his mind works… the guy can literally solve any problem, and he never gives up… ever! He works as an editor in Television and Movies, which gives us amazing health benefits, and I’m also grateful that he has a work-from-home setup giving him the freedom to work remotely. I LOVE his creativity and playfulness. Fun and adventure are priorities for him, which makes our life so joyful. He’s always fixing something around the house with his tools. For over 15 years, he has shown up whole-heartedly to our relationship, I know he’ll be a great parent because he is a positive light who gives his whole heart to those he cares about. The greatest privilege of my life is being loved by this wonderful man and I’m so excited for our future child who will get to experience his special kind of love.

We bought our first home together in 2018 here in beautiful Lake Balboa (a suburb of Los Angeles) in a safe neighborhood with great neighbors. We have filled our new home with love and so many plants! It’s only about 20 minutes to get to Hollywood, where Brian typically works (when not working from home). We are excited to be able to walk our future child to the top-rated elementary school just a block from our house. We love to host ugly sweater Christmas parties, murder mysteries at our house, as well as BBQs, and Easter Egg hunts in our big backyard for our friends and their kids. There’s also a lake! Lake Balboa is a small lake just down the road with playgrounds and recreation, and we love picnics there. We are just a short drive from both the mountains and the beach, and there’s so much art, culture, and entertainment in Los Angeles for children to experience.

Family: We are very close with both of our families. Stacy’s family welcomed Brian instantly, folding him into all their fun traditions such as watching White Christmas and decorating Christmas cookies. Holidays with them are big and wild and fun with so many kiddos running around! With Brian being an only child, his family is smaller, but that has allowed us to travel as a family, spending a Christmas at the Grand Canyon, or the family cruise we took to Alaska. They love Stacy as a daughter, and are very supportive of her and her passions. Brian is very close with his stepmother Kris, who was adopted - a positive example for us of what adoption can look like.

Friends: Our friend group is very close, a second family that are so supportive of each other. Many we have known for over a decade! Several of our friends have young children and new babies. They have been so supportive of our journey to be parents and can’t wait to share their love and support for our future child, and for our kids to play together!
